Director – Max Morden

This group is a select ensemble chosen by audition. The music is more challenging and offers more individual expression through the concepts of one player per part and improvisation. We work in many differing styles from the swing of Count Basie and Bossa Nova stylings of Stan Getz into the funk of Earth, Wind, and Fire, the power of Led Zeppelin, and soul of Sam & Dave.

We were proclaimed the best non-professional group ever to perform at the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, OH and performed there for the second time in May 2012. We have performed at Disney World, Cecil’s Jazz Club, and have been given superior ratings at festivals all along the East Coast for 22 consecutive years, where we’ve also taken outstanding soloist and outstanding section honors.
