Fundraising

Fundraising is an important part of supporting the Verona Music Parents Association and the music programs it serves. These programs provide simple ways for families and supporters to help raise funds through everyday purchases.

Want to support Verona’s music programs directly? VMPA accepts donations through Givebutter. Your contribution helps support student activities, equipment, performances, events, and other needs throughout the Verona music program.

Supermarket Gift Card Program

Support VMPA by purchasing supermarket gift cards for stores you already use. A percentage of each purchase is returned to VMPA, making this an easy way to support our music programs without any additional cost to you.

Gift cards may be available for participating local supermarkets and other retailers. Orders are collected periodically and distributed through VMPA.

How it works:

  • Choose the gift cards you would like to purchase.
  • Submit your order by the designated ordering deadline.
  • VMPA receives a percentage of the purchase as a fundraising contribution.
  • Use the gift cards just like cash for your normal shopping.

RaiseRight

RaiseRight is another easy way to support VMPA while purchasing gift cards for many of the stores, restaurants, and businesses you already use.

Participants can purchase physical or electronic gift cards through RaiseRight. Depending on the retailer, a percentage of each purchase is returned to VMPA.

With RaiseRight, you can:

  • Purchase gift cards from hundreds of participating retailers.
  • Choose electronic gift cards for convenient delivery.
  • Use gift cards for everyday shopping, dining, travel, and other purchases.
  • Generate fundraising revenue for VMPA through purchases you would already be making.

Why Participate?

Programs such as supermarket gift cards and RaiseRight allow families to support Verona’s music programs without traditional fundraising. Instead of purchasing something you may not need, these programs generate support through purchases you are already making.

Funds raised through VMPA fundraising activities help support programs, events, equipment, activities, and other needs benefiting Verona music students.
