Our AP Music Theory class is dedicated to developing a deep understanding of music as both an art and a language. Through the study of traditional theory, analysis, and ear training, we build the technical skills needed to read, write, and think critically about music. At the same time, we embrace a holistic approach that values creativity, expression, and the philosophical dimensions of musical experience. We seek to connect theory with practice, intellect with emotion, and discipline with curiosity, cultivating musicians who are not only well-prepared for the AP exam but also inspired to engage with music as a lifelong source of meaning and connection.
